On January 26, 2018, at around 7:30 AM, a fire broke out in a staff changing room next to the emergency room on the first floor. A total of 47 people died, including 1 doctor, 1 nurse, and 1 nursing assistant, with 145 injured in this tragedy. With only 10 staff members for 99 patients with mobility issues, combined factors like removed fire doors, illegal construction, and elevator misuse amplified the damage.
Following the fire tragedy, sightings have been reported among local residents and medical staff, which are interpreted as reflections of trauma and grief emotions.
